The Sabapathy lab is focused (i) on understanding the mechanistic basis of cellular transformation and resistance to cancer therapy, by investigating the p53/p73 tumor-suppressor pathway; (ii) on developing platform technologies to generate novel therapeutic strategies; and (iii) on developing mouse models to best reflect various cancer types to study the carcinogenic process.
