Research Fellow

Current Research Fellow Opening:

A Research Fellow position is available for outstanding and ambitious fresh PHD graduates or experienced post-doctoral fellows, with extensive experience in  siRNA technology, and in cellular and molecular biology techniques. Experience in whole genome chromatin immunoprecipitation analyses and mouse genetics will be an advantage.  The project involves understanding mutant p53 functions with the aim of designing novel therapeutic strategies, based on our recent work on developing mutation-specific siRNAs. Only candidates with relevant experience need apply. 

The successful applicant will be mature, experienced, highly-motivated and must have excellent communication and organizational skills, with written and oral fluency in English.  S/he should have the ability to develop creative approaches to experimental design and be able to function independently with minimal supervision, and work collaboratively.  Additional responsibilities will include mentorship of junior laboratory members and grant writing. A successful applicant will also be expected to enthusiastically contribute to other ongoing projects in the laboratory while leading his/her project.  Competitive compensation, benefits and support packages are available.
